This weekend we went to the Frisco Fest. We walked around for about an hour checking out the attractions and vendors. They really cater to children with an assortment of activities and rides. Most of the rides are for kids only and parents can't ride with them. So, Ella is still too young, but next year she will be able to ride most of them. There were a few cute booths set up with tu-tus, hair bows, and kids room decor, but I wish there were more. This year, all of the downtown businesses were open. Which is great to attract customers. There are some really cute shops in the downtown area that have opened in the last year.
This is the Arkansas Wildlife Fish Tank. They have it there every year. Ella really liked to look at the fish. She kept saying "fiss, fiss". Wes loves to fish. I wonder if she will be Daddy's fishing buddy...Barbie fishing pole and all. I remember those days.
They always have some sort of musician or group performing on the stage. Ella LOVES music and was swaying and waving her arms in the air. I tried to catch it. We've been trying to get some video of her doing it, it is the cutest thing.
LOOK MA, NO HANDS!!
On a side note, regarding the twins, I purchased something off of Ebay a few weeks ago that has made my life much easier. I call them bottle boppys and I took a few pics of Molly and Ruby using them.
They prop the bottles in the right position for feeding and H-A-L-L-E-L-U-J-A-H!!! is all I can say. For 4 1/2 months I've been sitting between them on the couch, arms extended, with a bottle in each hand to feed them at EVERY FEEDING! I still have to sit between them and supervise and re-arrange occasionally, but for the most part I've found a hands-free method. It's great too, because Wes will even sit between them and supervise while I go on my nightly cleaning frenzy.
Here are a few more pics of Molly and Ruby. They have started noticing each other and it is so precious, especially when they do it at the same time...they smile at each other. It's so sweet.
Tummy Time - they don't get near as much tummy time as Ella did...but we are working on it.
I am busy packing for our trip. You should see it all!!! I will have to take some pics of us all packed - locked and loaded. It's sure to be an adventure....
What a neat idea...where were those when mine were using a bottle. Granted, I just had one baby at a time, but still...hands free feedings..twins or no twins...what luxary. LOL
